“I don’t know,” Bristowe expressed to her fellow Bachelorette and special guest Rachel Lindsay on her podcast “Off the Vine” on Thursday, August 17th. “It saddens me because there is immense pressure not only from the external world but also from my own body. I feel the weight of my own body urging me to think, ‘Hey, you can’t continue doing this for many more years,’ and that is terrifying. Currently, I am single — it feels strange to admit that — at the age of 38, and now I find myself wondering, ‘When will I ever start a family?'”
Bristowe and Tartick ended their engagement earlier this summer after being together for four years.
I don’t know when it’s going to happen to me now. I think it’s incredible that we’re able to chase our dreams after our career and be ready to show up as an even better mother. It’s obvious that many women are having babies later in life and there are so many things in life to think about.
Lindsay has been married to Bryan Abasolo, her ultimate rose recipient, since 2019, but she revealed to Bristowe that she has entertained comparable notions.
Lindsay, who previously disclosed on the podcast that she departed from her position at Extra after a span of three years, expressed, “Currently, my sole occupation is podcasting, and truthfully, I find myself with an abundance of free time, which is causing me to become extremely anxious.” Lindsay, who earlier disclosed on the podcast that she left her job at Extra after a three-year stint, conveyed, “Until now, work has always been my means of escaping. I have never had to genuinely concern myself with finances.” Lindsay further added, “This is the first instance where I have actually had the opportunity to be still and confront my reality. As I find myself in this phase of transition, the thought of it is undeniably terrifying. My therapist even remarked, ‘I sense the pressure, like, ‘I’m 38, Oh, my gosh, I haven’t even frozen my eggs.'”
After stepping back from their careers as the couple endeavors to begin a family, Lindsay expressed her desire for “increased consistency”. She shared with Bristowe her aspirations for the upcoming six years, stating, “I simply wish for us to have children.” Additionally, she remarked, “We are currently striving for a greater purpose, hence I hope we have constructed the foundation for this purpose and can allocate more time to expanding our family.”
In the meantime, Tartick provided his own update on his “Trading Secrets” podcast earlier this week, discussing how he’s managing.
Tartick expressed, “There have been numerous emotional fluctuations.” “This week has been quite unclear,” the telephone has been, in my opinion, one of the most beneficial aspects for me. Furthermore, being physically distanced from that neighborhood, the telephone has, in my opinion, been one of the most advantageous aspects for me. I suppose everyone discovers methods to handle, mourn, and simply develop during these incredibly challenging periods. I apologize to anyone who has messaged or phoned me for not responding promptly.
Tartick, the ex-boyfriend who is living down the street from him, added that he’s taking a trip to Saratoga, skipping work through stages of grief — co-parenting their dogs.
He expressed, “In my perspective, that’s similar to the sensation, isn’t it gentlemen, of indulging in alcohol, socializing, and engaging in leisure activities, which can divert one’s attention.” “Regarding what lies ahead, I aim to persist in my professional endeavors and pursue my personal growth, as I am not inclined to discontinue my progression.”
