Kid Rock Reflects on His Career After Bud Light Fiasco

Musician Kid Rock has taken a stroll down memory lane and broken his month-long social media silence following the Bud Light controversy.

The rapper, songwriter, and singer had not posted across his social media channels since Monday, August 4th, when he reflected on his career and where it all began.

Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer, worked with the parent company of Bud Light, Anheuser-Busch, earlier this year. The company also sent her personalized beer cans with her face on them. In addition, she partnered with Bud Light and went on an attack against Rock.

Jenner Caitlyn and Kelly Megyn, both journalists, along with Rich John, a singer, and Travis Tritt, a country singer, were among the many celebrities who boycotted the brand Rock.

“I strongly dislike Bud Light and I strongly dislike Anheuser-Busch,” he expressed in response and shared a video where he destroyed multiple cases of Bud Light. The collaboration frustrated him immensely. He felt a great deal of anger towards it.

However, Rock was observed a few months later consuming the drink, which was also noticed in his Tennessee tavern.

It was the same Instagram account for him. He attended a WWE event, where he provided details, which he shared on Twitter on August 4th. After his last post on social media, the Rock went silent across various platforms.

He had achieved everything and had never taken the time to reflect on his career. However, he later circulated an old message on his Facebook artist page with a sentimental message about his career.

In my professional journey, I have been fortunate to have many remarkable individuals and close companions who have played a vital role. I am truly grateful for their presence and the hard work I have put in. However, I have never really taken the time to reflect on this until now, as I recall a conversation I had with my dear friend Karen Dumas years ago.

Sitting on the lake in Northern Michigan this morning, I am filled with gratitude and reflection. It is truly a wonderful day for Rock Kid – Cheers! I am thankful for all my hardworking family, fans, and friends. Here’s to the dedication and effort that brought a tear to my eye while re-reading it.
