The return of Starbucks’ iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) marks the unofficial start of fall for many customers. Since its introduction in 2003, this beverage has had a significant influence on the coffee industry and pop culture over the last 20 years.
For a limited duration, as long as supplies are available, the autumnal cuisine and drinks consist of Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, and Owl Cake Pop. Additionally, the beloved choices for returning patrons include the fresh Baked Apple Croissant, along with two novel seasonal beverages, Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte. Patrons can commemorate the 20th anniversary by relishing their initial taste of PSL, and the Starbucks autumn menu will make a comeback commencing on Thursday, August 24th.
Choice of the selection
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is Starbucks’s most popular seasonal beverage, enjoyed by customers around the world. This handcrafted beverage combines Starbucks’s signature Espresso with steamed milk and a blend of real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove flavors. It can be enjoyed hot, blended, or iced, with a topping of whipped cream.
This new beverage, called the Pumpkin Iced Chai Tea Latte Cream, is a popular customization inspired by a barista and customer. It combines a rich blend of chai spiced notes with creamy pumpkin foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice.
Starbucks beverage developer Billy Altieri expressed, “The Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte is featured on our official fall menu, showcasing the ingenuity of our baristas and delighting our enthusiastic customers. This iced beverage is both comforting and creamy, skillfully combining the flavors of pumpkin and chai to create a warm and inviting blend of spices.”
The fan-favorite Cold Brew Cream Pumpkin is also returning to the menu for the fifth year, featuring a dusting of pumpkin spice and a cold foam topping, sweetened with vanilla syrup and crafted by Starbucks®.
This year, Starbucks is introducing a new addition to their fall lineup called Espresso Shaken Oatmilk Crisp Apple Iced. It combines a balanced and smooth sip with oatmilk, topped and shaken together with sugar, brown cinnamon, and notes of apple, all infused with their Espresso Blonde® flavor.
Billy Altieri, a developer at Starbucks, stated that the new Espresso Shaken Oatmilk Crisp Apple Iced beverage perfectly combines the light roast flavors of Starbucks’ Blonde Espresso with the creamy and oatmilk features. This fall, customers can expect a cozy and inviting drink that pairs a cup of coffee with a delightful and warm taste of crisp apple.
Customers can also enjoy the returning Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, a delightful espresso drink infused with the rich tastes of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar, complemented by a spiced apple drizzle. This mouthwatering beverage is served hot, iced, or blended for your preference.
