Abigale, an aspiring author and dating coach, discovers the romance of her dreams in an unexpected process. While following her own advice, she unexpectedly meets Bailey (played by Ryan Michael) and things change. Abigale, who has never seen love as a priority for herself, sets out to find someone to fall for quickly in order to get enough material for her book, “Print in 12 Days: A Christmas Eve Man-Making Mission.” Before Jack, her publisher, has a chance to say no, Abigale proposes that she won’t proceed with the deal without him actually reading her book and knowing her dating advice. However, Abigale is more ready to become a published author than she is for the world of modern dating. Her first book, a how-to guide for dating in today’s world, is now completed and she is closer to making her lifelong dream come true as an author.
Recap/Wine Thoughts.
Maria Menounos, the author of the rapid-fire book “Annie”, connects with and provides advice to her clients, encouraging them to follow her dating tips. She also has a dog named Jim, who she affectionately calls “dork”. Abigale Seaver plays the role of Maria Menounos, a soon-to-be dating coach.
Brad, the wingman for social evenings, is the relationship expert known as Michael, possesses an attractive appearance. Michael seizes the opportunity to approach Maria Menounos while engaging in a joyous dance.
Maria Menounos lives with her LGBTQ+ friend, James. They are like Will and Grace without well-crafted writing!
Maria Menounos sees an opportunity to prove her love and commitment when she asks him to a date instead of the party. Before the meeting ends, she invites Jack to her Christmas party at her house and wants to pass on her book for publishing. However, the publishers are not interested in following Maria Menounos’s dating rules.
Things of that nature. Avoid introducing your friends too early. It’s best to wait until the third date to meet each other’s parents. It’s also advisable to not see each other on consecutive days. Maria Menounos provides an explanation of the 12 guidelines for Holiday Dating. He hasn’t even perused her book. Upon learning about the opportunity, James proposes to employ her as a companion.
Their friends cheer them on from a distance as they engage in playful conversation while enjoying their beers. They easily identify each other as the ones they met while dancing the previous day. However, everything changes when she accidentally bumps into Michael, causing their drinks to spill all over him. Unable to control herself, she jokingly presents herself as a dating expert. They search for potential romantic interests and decide to visit a nearby bar with James, all while Maria Menounos prepares herself for a night out.
The pub scene is still thriving! Maria Menounos and Michael are engaged in a game of billiards, and I just realized that she is sporting LARGE heart-shaped earrings.
They decide to give axe throwing a try. They talk about old cars and walk through a Christmas tree maze. The next day, Michael meets up with Maria at a farm and breaks her own rules.
They form a connection, fortunate that he displays her vintage automobiles, he refrains from causing harm to her. Despite Maria Menounos stating that she keeps her residence undisclosed to potential partners in order to protect herself from potential murderers, she accompanies Michael to his isolated shed. Maria Menounos is compelled to deceive him about her writing profession as revealing the truth would expose her ulterior motive of using him to validate her theory.
Maria Menounos reluctantly consents to disregard the regulations regarding tacos, causing her to become anxious. However, she proceeds to prepare Christmas Tacos for Michael at her residence. He arrives, places his coat on the designated hangers, and disregards the established guidelines for taco preparation.
She encourages Michael to be spontaneous, suggesting that they jump into a fountain until they almost kiss, and then he kicks security out for her.
Michael invites her to Brad’s family Christmas dinner! We learn that yawns are more contagious than common cold and they yawn a lot. He facetimes her to share the plans and they plan a date for Michael’s turn.
The evening goes splendidly, except for the fact that Maria Menounos has to evade discussing her profession once again, claiming to be a personal development mentor. The usual inquiries arise, and all attendees are dressed in festive Christmas onesies as Maria Menounos arrives for the meal.
An issue arises when Michael contacts his father, Jack, from the publishing company.
Despite the mess, it is worth it. It has been quite messy. Since Maria Menounos focuses on her dating experience with Michael, she writes about the most broken rules of dating in her entire book.
He departs to locate the tavern upon catching sight of his father. Maria Menounos attempts to engage in conversation with him, but Michael recognizes that he is present at his father’s festive celebration upon their arrival. Maria Menounos adorns herself in a glittering gown for the evening of the Christmas gathering.
He essentially runs off crying. Michael is heartbroken and explains the situation to Jack. Jack interrupts him to introduce her to his son. Maria tells Jack about the book revision.
I could see all this scene in the cafe bookstore, and the red curtains are way too short. Michael quits his job working for his father and refuses to read the book. Jack tells his son that the manuscript is worth reading and reads the book.
The Conclusion! Maria Menounos shares her relationship guidance, which essentially means to follow whatever strategy suits you! They unite and Maria Menounos sheds tears with James, while he embraces her firmly. He advises her to seize the opportunity. She complies.
Side Note.
This was unexpectedly adorable! Maria Menounos is quite suitable for this type of film.
