In Atlanta, Georgia, Chrisley Todd has been fired due to allegations that he had a homosexual affair with his former business partner, Mark Braddock, just days before he is set to report to prison for a 12-year sentence for fraud and tax evasion.

Braddock’s claims of truthlessness were declared on the podcast ‘Chrisley Confessions’ when Chrisley appeared on it on Tuesday, January 3rd. Apparently, the TV personality called the cops on him, but they remained close until 2012 when they ultimately broke off. In the early 2000s, it was revealed that Chrisley had a gay affair with him. The 57-year-old Braddock raised eyebrows when he testified during the trial in November 2022.

According to the Daily Mail, Chrisley stated that Braddock’s account had changed multiple times. Chrisley then expressed, “There have been many who have been infatuated by your father. I understand that. Let me tell you something. I could comprehend if you had engaged in sexual activity with me, it would drive you insane.” He continued, describing Braddock as “an unattractive person. Someone who resembles a thumb. Someone who claims to have only had sexual relations with his spouse and myself.” Chrisley remarked, “What has offended me the most is that, out of all these 54 years, for me to finally be accused of being involved with a man, it would be someone who resembled Mark Braddock.” While appearing on the podcast alongside his 26-year-old son Chase Chrisley, the real estate tycoon disclosed why he felt so insulted by the allegation.

Who is Mark Braddock?

“A ‘camaraderie’ as a strong connection, their collaboration persisted for almost ten years, Braddock informed the court following the conclusion of their supposed covert love affair. Approximately a year later, they initiated a relationship that swiftly grew affectionate, according to his statement. Braddock stated that he and Chrisley were colleagues at a real estate company from 2005 to 2012. In return for his testimony, Braddock, who received immunity, revealed that he and Chrisley collaborated.”

According to his LinkedIn profile, Braddock obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science, Statistics, and Math from Radford University in 1987. As mentioned in the Daily Mail, he initiated his career as a systems engineer at AT&T in 1984. During his three-year tenure in Virginia, he also worked for other companies such as AT&T and SAP Software Solutions before eventually joining Todd at Executive Asset Management in 2005. Despite allegations of infidelity, reports indicate that Leslie Braddock, his wife, has remained loyal to him since 1987. Presently, the couple resides in Florida, where Braddock serves as a partner at a consulting firm.

The duo allegedly ended their personal and professional relationship, ultimately paying up to the blackmailer in order to keep them quiet. The court was told that the blackmailer threatened him, saying, “Pay up and we’ll shut up,” after claiming to know about his alleged affair with Chrisley while working at Asset Management Executive. The affair with Chrisley lasted for a year and was kept hidden from their respective spouses.

Braddock tipped off FBI after falling out with Chrisley

According to the Daily Mail, on January 17, the disgraced pair is expected to report to their respective Florida correctional facilities. Both were also given a 16-month probation period after their release. Julie was instructed to serve seven years, while Todd was handed a 12-year prison sentence. They allegedly borrowed over $30 million in such loans, which were utilized to support their extravagant way of life. Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of federal charges including bank fraud and tax evasion, as well as providing false documentation to banks. Eventually, Braddock informed the FBI about Chrisley and his spouse’s illegal activities out of a sense of revenge. This happened after Chrisley expelled him from his office in 2012 and reported him to the police, as claimed by Braddock in court.
