On behalf of the entire team at Spa Medical & Surgery Plastic MD Fechner, we would like to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and loyalty during this unprecedented time. We have been working hard to evolve and provide a patient experience that you can expect to come from us. Unlike anything we have experienced in the past several months, we are grateful for your patience and understanding.

Please help us continue to protect the well-being and health of our workplace and patients by cooperating with all the COVID-19 protocols and precautionary measures at your next appointment or plan. As we actively work to safely reopen our practice, we are committed to taking all necessary precautions and providing the best patient care at our medical spa and surgical center. Since the beginning of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, Spa Medical & Surgery Plastic MD Fechner has taken extreme precautionary measures in addition to following the most up-to-date state guidelines and CDC recommendations to maximize the safety and health of our facility, staff, and patients.

WHAT MEASURES ARE WE TAKING TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OUR STAFF?

We want to ensure that we are doing everything possible to safely return our patients to spa medical and surgical treatments. In fact, Dr. Fechner is an expert in controlling infection as a surgeon. Dr. Fechner has always observed the highest level of sanitation and safety in our fully accredited surgical facility.

  • Our certified practice is solely reserved for our patients and staff.
  • Our practice is located in a single, free-standing building where only our patients and staff have permission to restrict the number of people entering.
  • Our staff members solely work within our facilities and all travel using personal vehicles. Otherwise, each one of us is observing self-quarantine at our individual homes.
  • We closely observe our employees for signs and increased body temperature on a daily basis.
  • We sanitize all our tools on-site, further decreasing the possibility of being exposed.
  • We have personal protective equipment to fulfill our requirements.
  • Every single one of our staff members will be using appropriate personal protective gear (PPE), including N95 respirators and protective face shields, goggles, and headgear.
  • We have purchased and installed air purifiers throughout the building to cleanse the air during patient access to the clinic.
  • At the end of each day, we have purchased and installed ozone generators designed specifically to sanitize the air in the establishment.
  • We have bought and set up touch-free hand sanitizer machines all over the establishment.
  • We have bought and set up plexi-glass protective barriers in the reception zone to offer a protective shield for employees and individuals.
  • Our team remains committed to following social distancing protocols within our establishment.
  • We have established a strict survey and testing procedure for both employees and patients.
  • We have introduced a virtual registration/ departure process for our patients.
  • We have made sure that there is limited contact between patients and other individuals while at the clinic.
  • We will keep providing virtual consultations and virtual follow-up appointments.
  • We offer you a contactless payment system.
  • The upgraded work flow and safety protocols we have implemented at Fechner MD far exceed those being recommended by any government agency.

What is the Opening Date for Fechner MD Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa?

In order to maximize appointments and continue consultations, our provider will hold virtually few exceptions for treatments like body contouring, Instalift, and vein treatments. Due to this, we will have fewer available openings for procedures. We understand the need to sanitize rooms between patient appointments and limit the number of patients and staff in our building to adhere to Massachusetts guidelines and ensure safety. Please understand that all affected procedures and surgeries will be diligently rescheduled by our staff, and we appreciate your understanding and patience. We expect cosmetic surgery to resume during Governor Baker’s Phase 3 plan, but we are still awaiting a definitive date from the Governor. We cautiously expect the resumption of injectable treatments and medical spa services during the phased reopening of Massachusetts in Phase 2. MD Fechner will adhere to all government mandates and local/state regulations.
